Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: 2026-05-07
This English text is a courtesy translation. The Hebrew version at layla.events/he/accessibility is the binding statement under Israeli law. In any conflict, the Hebrew prevails.
Our commitment
At Layla we believe the internet should be available and accessible to every person, regardless of ability or condition. We work to make the Platform accessible to users with a wide range of disabilities — visual, auditory, motor, cognitive and others — in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) 5773-2013.
Conformance standard
The Platform conforms to level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and to the Israeli standard IS 5568. Conformance to this standard enables people with disabilities to access information and services on the Platform independently and without intermediation.
Accessibility features
The Platform has been designed with accessibility in mind from the ground up:
- Full support for screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Full keyboard navigation, no mouse required
- Alternative text (alt text) for all meaningful images
- WCAG AA-compliant colour contrast (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
- Font scaling without loss of layout or content
- Operating-system high-contrast mode support
- Reduced-motion support (prefers-reduced-motion) for users sensitive to motion
- Clear labels for all form fields
- Logical heading hierarchy (h1-h6) on every page
- Hebrew interface with full right-to-left (RTL) support
Limitations
Despite our efforts, certain parts of the Platform may not be fully accessible — for example, content created by Organizers (event descriptions, images they upload) is not directly under our control. We work to ensure Organizers add alt text to images and comply with accessibility guidelines themselves, but we cannot enforce this at all times.
In addition, some services we use (such as the Tranzila acquirer's payment fields) are provided by third parties. Their accessibility is the responsibility of those providers.
Encountered an accessibility issue?
If you encounter an accessibility problem on the Platform — a link that does not work with a screen reader, a feature unavailable via keyboard navigation, low contrast, or any other difficulty — please contact us and we will work to resolve it as soon as possible.
Accessibility coordinator
Pursuant to Regulation 36 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) 5773-2013, we appoint an accessibility coordinator responsible for handling accessibility inquiries and complaints.

Continuous improvement
We are committed to continuously improving accessibility on the Platform. The Platform is tested periodically using automated tools (axe-core) and manual reviews, and we apply fixes in every development cycle. Any update to this Accessibility Statement will be published on this page along with an updated revision date.
